You do not have to choose a delivery date or work out postage. Every Offline Christmas Box is packed in the same run and in the post by Friday 11 December. Once it is with Australia Post the delivery date is theirs, not ours, so we will not promise you a day. What we will promise is that it is sent in good time.
We set our own cutoff earlier than Australia Post's so hand packing fits inside it. We post by 11 December and send you tracking. We cannot control what Australia Post does after that, so we do not guarantee a delivery date, and we would rather say that plainly than promise you something that is not ours to promise.

No. It is one box, one payment. There is no account to set up and nothing to cancel, ever. If you would like a monthly box instead, that is the Offline Box at $99 a month.
A large book nook to build, valued at $89 and around seven to eight hours of making. With it: a large pearl watercolour set and an art print, a pot and seeds, an ingredient and recipe card for a Christmas dessert, an outdoor scavenger hunt, a family card game, a weighted eye mask, and the Christmas issue of our magazine, which has the how-to for everything else. We tell you every item so you can judge the value. We keep the details of each one back so the person opening it still has something to discover.
Yes, and that is the default. Put their address at checkout and we post it direct, wrapped and sealed, with your message on a card inside. There is no pricing anywhere in the parcel and we will not email them beforehand. If you would rather give it by hand, choose "send it to me" and it comes to you.
Every box is posted between 7 and 11 December, wherever it is going in Australia, including WA, the NT and Tasmania. They all go out in the same packing run, so there is no delivery date to choose and no postage to work out. We will send you tracking. We do not guarantee the delivery date itself, because once it is with Australia Post that is out of our hands, but posting that week leaves plenty of room before Christmas. Order any time before Friday 27 November.
It is the biggest thing we make. The book nook on its own is a $89 kit and seven or eight hours of building. On top of that there are seven more things, a magazine we write and print ourselves, and delivery anywhere in Australia including WA, the NT and Tasmania, which is not cheap for a box this size. Everything is chosen, packed, wrapped and sealed by hand in Melbourne, with love, rather than assembled from a catalogue.
Our monthly Offline Box is $99. This one is considerably bigger, and it is a one-off, so there is nothing ongoing attached to it.
Yes. Choose New Zealand when you order and it’s $199 plus $30 NZ shipping, so $229 a box in Australian dollars. New Zealand boxes are posted first, on 7 December, and orders to New Zealand close on 20 November. New Zealand has strict biosecurity rules, so if anything in the box can’t cross the border, like the seeds, we swap it for something else.
Yes. $199 is the whole price, delivered anywhere in Australia, including WA, the NT and Tasmania. The seeds and the dessert ingredient are both sourced from suppliers approved to ship Australia wide, so nothing gets left out of a box because of where it is going.
There is no alcohol. There is one food item, the ingredient for the Christmas dessert, and it comes with its recipe card. If that is a problem for the person you are buying for, email us before you order and we will work it out with you.
Up to five in one order, and you can change the number at checkout. If you need more than five, that is our business box, which comes with your own card, co-branding and address handling.
If a box turns up damaged, tell us within seven days and we will send a new one. If you change your mind before it is packed, email us and we will refund you in full. If it is not right, tell us within seven days and we will fix it or refund it.
