Who we are. MERRI is a trading name of Connected au Pty Ltd, ACN 642 711 180, a company registered in Australia and trading from New South Wales. In this document, “MERRI”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Connected au Pty Ltd. You can reach us at hello@wearemerri.com.au.
MERRI is an Australian ecommerce business. We sell physical goods online — principally The Offline Box, a monthly subscription box of real things posted anywhere in Australia — alongside printed and digital products and a members’ community. Delivery is included in the advertised price unless otherwise stated.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
Failure to read or understand these Terms does not exempt you from them.
Upon successful payment you receive immediate access to your MERRI account and to any digital content included in your plan.
Physical goods, including The Offline Box, are packed by hand and posted to the delivery address on your account. These Terms cover both the physical and the digital parts of your membership — there is no separate agreement for The Offline Box.
By purchasing a membership, you authorise MERRI to:
Billing timing. Subscription charges are intended to occur on a recurring billing cycle aligned with your original purchase date. In some cases, billing dates may vary slightly due to system processing, payment provider timing, or administrative adjustments.
Billing integrity. MERRI will maintain one active subscription per member unless otherwise selected by the member. Any duplicate or unintended charges identified will be reviewed and corrected. MERRI does not intentionally process duplicate or overlapping subscriptions without member consent.
Membership pricing is not fixed and may increase over time. MERRI reserves the right to adjust membership pricing, plans, and billing structures.
Over the past four years, MERRI has reviewed and adjusted membership pricing and billing dates on an annual, and at times biannual, basis. These adjustments reflect the real cost of running the community, including our activities, resources, and outgoings such as postage, materials, platform fees, and staffing. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept that pricing and billing cycles are not static and may change in this way.
Where a pricing change occurs, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable, and changes apply prospectively to future billing cycles. Continued use of the membership after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
While MERRI takes reasonable care in billing processes, you acknowledge that billing systems may occasionally experience errors or inconsistencies. In the event of an error (including duplicate or incorrect charges), MERRI will investigate and rectify the issue promptly, which may include refunds, billing adjustments or subscription corrections.
You can cancel at any time, from your account or by replying to any email from us. There is no notice period. Cancelling stops all future charges.
The one exception. Once the box for your current cycle has entered the packing run — that is, once it has been prepped for despatch or is already in transit — that cycle can no longer be cancelled or refunded. The box is still yours and we will still send it, and your subscription ends after it. Every box is picked and packed by hand for a named member, so once it is made up it cannot go back into stock.
Stopping payment, disputing a charge, or not using your membership does not cancel a subscription.
Fees are generally not refunded for change of mind once digital access has been granted, or once the box for that cycle has been packed or despatched. Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases of duplicate charges, incorrect billing, or system errors, and will always be issued where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
MERRI may update membership features, platform access, and these Terms and Conditions. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
Members are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under their account. Membership access is for individual use only.
MERRI may suspend or terminate access where members breach these Terms, or engage in harmful or disruptive behaviour.
All content remains the property of MERRI and may not be reproduced without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MERRI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These Terms are governed by Australian law.
